Gripple Express Wire Rope Fastener | Tool-Free Release
The Gripple Express is the push-button member of the Gripple wire rope fastener family, made for HVAC, signage and mechanical services suspension. The termination is formed by hand like any Gripple - the difference is at the other end of the job: where the rest of the range needs a Flag Key or Setting Key to let the rope back out, the Express releases from a button on the body. Much faster, much easier.

How to use?
The Gripple Express has two channels and fits by hand. No tool is needed to make the termination. More than that, unlike the Standard Hang Fast, you don't even need an Adjustment Key for releasing. Use the buttons instead for this purpose.

Pass a length of wire rope through one of the two channels.

Loop the rope around the anchor point, or around any suitable bracing point.

Return it through the other channel, pulling at least 75 mm (3") of rope through. Pull on the load-bearing section and the Gripple Express locks tight.
🔑 Releasing and re-adjusting
A Gripple is one-way by design: rope goes in, rope does not come back. To let the rope run back out - for dropping a run to its final height, correcting a line pulled too tight, or recovering the fastener for re-use - simply press the buttons. You DON'T need a matching Gripple Adjustment Key!

Where a size shows a range of wire rope diameters, the stated SWL applies to the largest diameter in that range; thinner rope within the same range will hold less. Sourcing or utilizing non-Gripple, uncertified, or generic steel wires voids these load-holding specifications. The responsibility and liability for system safety and load integrity remain entirely with the user if third-party wire ropes are utilized.
